Mr. Nguyen Trong Tue, a 3rd year student of Tan Tao University, has received a full scholarship in Canada in 2015. The scholarship is named Mitacs Globalink Research Internships for students from Brazil, China, India. , Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Vietnam. This is a scholarship for students from other countries to study under the guidance of professors at leading research universities in Canada. The scholarship is worth $7,500 for 12 weeks of internship. This event is a concrete proof of the quality of American standardized education at TTU. This is a joy, a pride for Mr.Tue individually, and for Tan Tao University in generally

Tue is an excellent student of the Faculty, he always acomplished high achievements during the school year. However, his studying journey is not as simple as other students. Tue’s father just died after a battle agaisnt cancer; so his mother lives a weary life because of poor health. And he has a younger brother who is also in school age. Observing his father struggling with illness, he was not discouraged, on the other hand, Tue tried his best while studying. Maybe inside his belief, every of his efforts will help his father ease the pain of illness. The instructors always encourage and support him to try his best during his studies at the school. His filial piety and his fondness of learning have resulted in high scores and achievements in the whole faculty. In the past years, Tue has received a Full Scholarship for Students of Tan Tao University, including the cost of meals and accommodation at the school’s dormitory. When cancer took away his beloved father; then sadness accompanied by economic anxiety, he was wobbling in learning. However, by the encouragement of his family and his extraordinary efforts, he kept moving forward and beyond to receive a Full Scholarship in Canada in 2015. Speaking to TTU’s Communications Department, Tue said “Granting scholarship is a great success for me personally. This is a great opportunity for me to get access to advanced world’s education. Hopefully, in the coming years, many other TTU students will be able to receive this scholarship”. TTU would like to wish Tue a successful summer study course in Canada, to continue to work harder and get much more success on the road ahead.
